Schmidt Security Pro is looking for an Alarm Technician who is passionate about technology and customer service. Our technicians work directly with end users to install, diagnose and resolve a wide variety of software and hardware issues in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment. Applicant must have hardware and software experience. Previous experience working with DMP and GE Products is helpful but not necessary. This position is 30% I.T. and 70% physical security.
Schmidt Security Pro is a provider of video surveillance, access control, burglar alarms, panic alarms, fire equipment and guards. Schmidt utilizes wireless and hardware technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support to on-site and remote customers by diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, mobile app, and phone system issues.
- Perform upgrades and repairs.
- Perform installations.
- When on-call, respond to occasional after-hours calls from customers regarding technical issues.
Qualifications:
- IT-related college degree or experience
- PC and Network knowledge/experience
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- At least 5 Years Alarm Experience
