Schmidt Security Pro is selected by Security Sales & Integration as a finalist in Four Achievement Categories
Mansfield, Ohio – Schmidt Security Pro / Schmidt Fire is honored to be recognized by Security Sales & Integration (SSI) as a finalist in four Sales and Marketing Award categories. The 26th Annual SAMMY Awards Program is the only one of its kind in the security industry to recognize and honor dealers and integrators for their marketing, business, installation, and overall excellence.
SSI received more than 160 entries from installing and monitoring security systems contractors from throughout North America.
Schmidt Security Pro is a finalist in the following categories for small to midsize security companies:

- Best Newsletter or Content Marketing
- Best Website Design
- Best Overall Marketing Program

In the summer of 2025, Schmidt Security Pro proudly participated in the Summer of Caring, a community‑wide volunteer initiative organized by the United Way of Richland County that ran from mid‑July through September. The Summer of Caring brings together local businesses, volunteers, and community partners to work on hands‑on service projects that uplift and strengthen our community.
As part of this year’s efforts, our team chose to support a local beneficiary that truly reflects our community’s heart — the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. We devoted a day to painting the entire exterior of the sanctuary’s education center building, providing a refreshed, welcoming space for visitors and volunteers. Our crew worked with energy and enthusiasm, not just improving the physical appearance of the center, but also contributing to the sanctuary’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating the public about native Ohio bird species. The Ohio Bird Sanctuary plays an important role in connecting people with nature and fostering respect for wildlife, and we were honored to contribute in a meaningful way.
Participating in the Summer of Caring was more than just a volunteer activity — it was a chance for Schmidt Security Pro to get out into the community, roll up our sleeves, and make a visible impact alongside other local volunteers. This experience reinforced our commitment to giving back and supporting the organizations that make Richland County a better place to live and work. We are grateful to the United Way of Richland County for organizing this inspiring program and for the opportunity to be part of a summer full of service, teamwork, and community pride.
In 2025, Schmidt Security Pro proudly joined the Marion Business Builders Chapter of BNI (Business Networking International), a local business networking organization committed to helping companies grow through structured referral marketing and meaningful professional connections. BNI is the world’s leading business referral organization, built on the core philosophy of “Givers Gain®” — the idea that by giving business to others, you create opportunities to receive business in return. It provides a supportive, positive, and structured environment where local business leaders can meet regularly, build trust, and exchange qualified referrals that help each member expand their reach and impact.
Since joining the Marion chapter, our team has already begun forming valuable relationships with other local professionals and business owners who share a commitment to community growth and mutual success. Weekly chapter meetings give each member the chance to share insights about their services, learn more about other businesses, and actively seek referral opportunities that benefit everyone in the group. Being part of a network that values personal connections and trusted recommendations allows Schmidt Security Pro to expand its presence in the region and deepen ties with fellow entrepreneurs while contributing to a thriving business community.
